Talent Pipeline Program
MVP engages with diverse talents, not just through our Fellows Program, but also through our Talent Pipeline Initiative. MVP works closely with nonprofit organizations, colleges, scholarship funds, and community-based organizations to design and facilitate free career events and workshops to POC college students and young professionals seeking career-readiness skills, support, mentorship, and job placement.
How It Works
- Talent Sourcing: We identify and prepare top talent from nearby colleges, ensuring a diverse and brilliant candidate pool
- Internship Opportunities: Host companies, like yours, can benefit by hosting MVP interns, offering hands-on experience and valuable professional networks
- Central Facilitation: MVP takes a pivotal role in facilitating the internship experience, providing essential guidance and support for interns to thrive
- Training for Success: Both host company supervisors and interns receive training before the internship program starts, ensuring a smooth beginning
- Engagement Through Workshops: Interns actively participate in monthly workshops, applying their knowledge to real-world scenarios
- Midpoint Check-ins: Regular check-ins allow timely adjustments, enhancing the latter part of the internship for maximum benefit
- End-of-Internship Presentations: The program concludes with interns showcasing their progress through skillfully orchestrated presentations
- Continuous Improvement: Gathering feedback and insights, we continuously refine the program to ensure its ongoing effectiveness
- Benefits for Host Companies: By joining, host companies gain access to a diverse candidate pool, enhance their reputation as socially responsible workplaces, and provide employees with meaningful opportunities to give back to their communities

Testimonials
I enjoyed my interactions with my mentor and supervisor as well as other Jazz employees, and working in Pharma, which was a new learning experience. I was able to contribute my Python skills as well as grow skills within Biostats; it was a mutually beneficial experience. I had a lot of great support throughout my internship.
— Intern, Summer 2022
As a Mentor, this was a rewarding experience for me. I have mentored students in the past; it was refreshing to have this opportunity again—especially knowing your support was available, as needed.
— Jazz Mentor, 2022
It was very heartwarming to see [my intern] blossom and gain confidence during the course of her internship. [She] also took constructive feedback well and implemented changes right away. This really showed professional maturity.
